Elinor was elected as a co-opted governor in December 2015 and is new to school governing. Before moving to Sandhurst she chaired the management committee of a youth club in South East London and hopes that what she learnt there, along with running a company and bringing up three sons will be of benefit to this committee.
Elinor’s youngest son spent six happy and productive years at Sandhurst Nursery and Primary School and she is keen to help the school grow from strength to strength whilst maintaining its spirit of community and family.
Over the last few years Elinor and her husband have developed Windmill Woods as a safe woodland haven for children to explore and learn and are delighted that the school is utilising it. She is particularly interested in promoting healthy living and an appreciation of our wonderful local environment.
