Co-opted Governor

Sophie was originally elected as a governor by the parent body in 2018. In 2022 she stepped down as a parent governor but remains on the board as a co-opted member. She has one child who attended Sandhurst Primary School between 2016 and 2023 and during this time Sophie was a regular face around school having actively been part of the PTFA supporting the school.

Sophie works as a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a large construction firm. Her background in cost planning and financial management gives her the skill set to to monitor the schools finances and budget. She is also responsible for monitoring Outcomes for Pupils and has a keen interest in staff and pupil wellbeing.
