Update for September 2018

Over the last year teachers have reintroduced Scofield and Sims maths books as part of our weekly homework. This was partly in response to the parental survey which found that parents wanted more structured weekly homework and will replace the topic based activities set previously.

All children are expected to complete one page of maths per week. Alongside this will be spellings and reading as usual.

Homework will be set on Friday for all children in school and this will begin on Friday 14th September. Teachers would like homework returned to school by Wednesday at the latest. This will then give them opportunity to mark it and have it ready to return for Friday.
Mrs Norman and Mrs Saunders will run a homework club on Tuesday lunchtime for any child who needs to complete their work during the school day. Children who do not complete their work at home, or at homework club, will have to complete it during 20/20 time on a Friday afternoon.
