Potter Class (Yr R) – Miss Beaney

Welcome to Potter Class

Hello, I’m Mrs Lucas and I am the EYFS teacher and SENCo at Sandhurst Primary school. I started my journey at Sandhurst as a Teaching Assistant in 2015. I have been here ever since and have thoroughly enjoyed teaching across both key stages.

I have a degree in Acting, so you will always catch me and the children dancing and singing our way through the day. I thoroughly believe in the power of a holistic approach towards the children in EYFS and will always strive to ensure the many paths to learning are open to our littlest people. Responsiveness to our children’s diverse learning styles, encouraging questioning and reflection, and encompassing multiple layers of learning and experience are an inherent part of developing our children’s love for discovery and gives them the best possible to start to their unique  learning journey.
