Art: Ammonite
Linked to our main topic, “Rocks, Relics and Rumbles”, our art topic for this term is “Ammonite”. Throughout this topic, we will learn about artistic techniques used in sketching; printmaking and sculpture. We will begin by looking carefully at ammonites and then we will study ‘Fibonacci’ and imitate his use of pattern, form and shape. At the end of the unit, we will make prints of our own motifs. Design and Technology: Making it move
