Composition of the Board
The Governing Body of Sandhurst Primary School comprises ten to twelve Governors. These Governors meet six Mondays a year as a complete group for ‘Full Governing Body Meetings’. They have agreed to operate using the ‘Circle Model’ of governance. In addition, each governor is part of a monitoring pair who meet with staff and children in school to discuss book monitoring, triangulation of data, finance, attendance, safeguarding, special educational needs, pupil premium, health and safety, curriculum. etc.
The membership is made up as follows:
- 2 Parent Governors
- 1 Local Authority Governor
- 1 Staff Governor
- 1 Headteacher Governor
- 7 Co-opted Governors
